Welcome

Hi I’m Pam Saunders-Ward, a registered psychologist with over 25 years’ experience working with people to assist them through life’s challenges.  As a mental health provider, I have been using evidence-based treatments/therapies with clients over the last 25 years in the United Kingdom and Australia.

It all begins with YOU! We all experience life and events differently, therefore we cope in different ways. Sometimes old coping skills and mechanisms no longer help us, which can be confusing, or you might be at the beginning of your life and just learning how to cope with life’s many challenges. Whatever you may be feeling, I aim to support and guide you through processing difficult emotions and behavioural responses you may feeling a compassionate and culturally sensitive approach.

Using evidence-based treatments such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Behavioural Therapy (DBT) and Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) my aim is to help and guide people through recovery to those who have been exposed by traumatic events. I enjoy working with an array of people and have particular in working with Children & Families, Defence, Veteran’s & Frontline personnel.

I have completed the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) auditing process and meet the practice standards and am currently waiting on registration from the NDIS Commissioner.

I additionally have extensive knowledge in other areas. Please contact me for further information regarding specialised report writing, supervision and more.

Let me help you meet your needs. I’m available to see you online or in-person.
